Fees — Notary, Translation & Legalization Thailand

Two different kinds of money appear on every Thai document file. The first is our professional fee, listed below and fixed in your quote. The second is the official charge levied by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, an embassy or a Thai government office — we cannot discount it, so we pass it through at cost with the receipt. Quoting them separately is why our written quote holds even when an embassy raises its own tariff mid-file.

Are these prices final?+

They are starting professional fees for a standard document. The final figure depends on page count, how many certified copies you need, and which authorities must sign off. We issue a written quote covering the entire chain before starting, and we do not change it afterwards unless you add documents.

What is not included?+

Government and embassy charges are passed through at cost with the receipt: Ministry of Foreign Affairs legalisation is roughly 200–800 THB per document, embassy attestation varies by country and is commonly the equivalent of USD 50–200, and courier is billed on the actual waybill.

Is VAT added?+

Listed fees are before 7% Thai VAT. VAT is added when you need a full tax invoice for a company; private clients receiving an ordinary receipt are billed the listed amount.

How do I pay from abroad?+

International clients normally pay by card through Stripe or by SWIFT transfer to our Thai bank account. Clients in Thailand can use PromptPay to tax ID 0405565001923, any Thai bank transfer, credit card with a surcharge, or cash at the office.

What does express cost?+

Same-day completion adds 30–50% to the professional fee; overnight or public-holiday work adds 50–100%. Government express windows, where the authority offers one, are charged at the authority's own published rate.

Can I get a quote before sending originals?+

Yes and it is free. Send scans plus the name of the country and authority that will receive the document over LINE or email; a lawyer replies with the full chain, the fee, the government charges and the realistic turnaround, usually within 30 minutes during business hours.

Any firm-side error is remedied at no additional cost, and if a document is rejected by a government authority due to a firm-side error, we cover the entire re-filing fee.
