Swear your single-status affidavit before a Thai Notarial Services Attorney for a marriage registered abroad. THB 2,500, about one hour.

Registry offices in the UK, US, Australia, Germany and Japan typically want two layers: the district-office certificate of marital status, plus an affidavit in which the applicant personally swears the facts before an authorised officer.
We draft the affidavit bilingually in the wording your destination specifies, check that your name matches the passport and the district-office certificate, then you swear and sign before the attorney.
The fee is THB 2,500. Bring the original marital-status certificate issued within the last 30 days. Many countries then require Department of Consular Affairs and destination-embassy layers; we schedule those and quote the government fees separately.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the district certificate?
The district certificate reports civil-registration data; the affidavit is your own sworn statement before the attorney. Many countries want both.
Must my foreign fiancé(e) attend?
No. Only you sign, but we need their correct details to name them in the document.
What if I was previously divorced?
Bring the divorce registration or final judgment so the affidavit matches the civil register.
How long does the affidavit stay usable?
The attorney sets no expiry, but registry offices commonly accept documents under 3–6 months old. Confirm with them before travelling.
Does it need translating?
For non-English destinations usually yes; we can arrange the translation and certify it.
Can Thailand issue an Apostille yet?
Not yet. The Apostille Convention enters into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027; until then Consular Affairs plus embassy legalisation applies.
