Notarial Services (Notary Public Thailand)
Affidavit of Support / Sponsorship Letter
Notarised sponsorship affidavit covering a student, spouse or dependant's costs, certified by a Thai Notarial Services Attorney. THB 2,500.
Mon–Sat 09:00–18:00 (Bangkok)
When the applicant is not paying their own way, embassies and institutions ask for a sponsorship letter stating the relationship, the amount covered and the period — plus proof that the sponsor really signed it.
We check the document contains the three elements officers look for: sponsor identity, evidence of financial capacity, and a clearly bounded undertaking. The sponsor then signs before the attorney with the supporting financial documents on the table.
The fee is THB 2,500 and the appointment takes about an hour. We do not give migration advice and never guarantee a visa outcome; we certify the signing and the document's compliance with the destination's format.

Frequently asked questions
The sponsor lives abroad — what then?
It must be notarised where the sponsor is. A Thai attorney can only certify signing that happens before them in Thailand.
Should an amount be stated?
Yes. Officers frequently reject open-ended wording with no capped amount or period.
How many months of statements?
Destination-dependent; 3–6 months is common. Check the embassy or institution's own rule.
Can it be in Thai only?
Possible, but a bilingual Thai–English version reduces follow-up requests.
Can one letter cover several people?
Only if the destination allows it; many require one affidavit per beneficiary.
Does notarisation guarantee the visa?
No. It only certifies that the sponsor signed before the attorney; the decision remains with the deciding authority.
